Why I quit Stitch Fix

Are you still loving StitchFix? I had to quit and here is why:

1) They were NOT paying attention to my Pinterest Board: I love the idea of Stitch Fix. When I shop for myself, I always head towards blacks, grays and whites - my comfort zone. When I go pinning on Pinterest, the looks I pin are so different then what I actually wear. My Pinterest Board is a 100% accurate presentation of what I want my style to be, but I'm unable to execute on my own for some reason. My Stylists however, seemed to be ignoring my Pinterest and my requests at all. After another disappointing and confusing box, I finally had to say buh bye!

2) Price verse quality? Prices for a lot of the items I received were higher then I was used to spending. BUT, the quality was supposed to be much better so I didn't mind splurging a little. Well it turns out that many of the pieces I ended up purchasing, are not a better quality then the items I have purchased on my own from Target. Jeans have started pilling very quickly, seams have fallen out of shirts, and one of the shirts I only wore once, and I ended up with a big hole in the arm pit by the end of the day. I think the items are way too over priced for the quality. I know that many people love StitchFix, and I'm still hooked on StitchFix review blogs and vlogs. Some other users seem to get the cutest items in their boxes and I find myself getting jealous often! And I still love the idea of a clothing subscription service. So I'm trying a few more:

Natalie Attired - I didn't keep anything from my first box because it fit issues - not style.  I thought prices were a little high, but the items felt like much higher quality items then Stitch Fix.  My next box is set to arrive this week, I'll keep you posted.

Nadine West - I'm giving it once more shot....the first two shipments were pretty low quality - but I realized that I had selected the lowest price option so that could be why.  I've updated my profile to request higher quality items, so we will see what the next package brings.

Trendsend by EverEve - Freaking love this.  Their styling fee is only $1.00.  Yup, one dollar!  They have sent me some items that I NEVER would have picked myself and I ended up LOVING them.  My favorite dress of the summer came from one of my first boxes, and I have worn it and washed it so many times and it's still holding up great.

What subscription boxes do you love?
